The Igor has a little less room in the toes, not a bad thing. I have done it twice and my boot has been fine. (I’ve been told you can heat mould the Igor, but not to the same degree. The Evo2 is easy to heat Mould in an oven following recommendations. The Evo2 seems to have a slightly higher heel stance. The Evo 2 has a replaceable toe straps. Powerslide alpha frames are superior in engineering. The Igor carbon cuff does fit the evo2 ) (might wear the boot slightly though) I skate cuff-less at rink and use the cuff for outdoor slalom. The Evo2 boot can be stiff or flexible to your own choice. My Evos have been more durable in the long term, though I do not have toe protection as standard. Powerslide buckles are more durable, better designed, if you know/learn how to use them properly. 100% necessary if you want to try multiple frames from the best. Powerslide X-slot frame attachment is superior for the ultimate frame adjustment options. I would easily upgrade both should I need to in future.īoth skates are in a quality of their own class, so do not compare with cheaper offerings from each company.
